On 23 March 2022, Oybek Norinbayev, the Chairman of the Geographic Society of Uzbekistan, met with a delegation headed by Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Binali Yildirim, who arrived in our country to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum.

Welcoming the guests, the Chairman of the Geographic Society of Uzbekistan expressed his confidence that the participation of a representative delegation of the Organization of Turkic States and Turkey in this forum would serve to further consistent development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey.

During the meeting, topical issues of current bilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for its expansion, including in the areas of investment, geographical research, tourism, education, science and other priority areas, were discussed and considered.
