Central Asia is one of the oldest political, economic and cultural centers in the world. The inhabitants of Central Asia are one of the peoples who have made a great contribution to world history and human culture, creating inexhaustible monuments.

At present, work is underway to prepare and publish the book "Scientists-Travelers" by Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan Khasanov Hamidulla Khasanovich, as well as to translate it into Turkish.

Doctor of Geography, Professor, Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan, scientist and favorite teacher of the current generation of geographers of our country Hamidulla Khasanovich Khasanov (1919-1985) devoted his life to scientific and pedagogical activity. His scientific and teaching activities include the history of geography, geographical terminology, toponymy, teaching methods, translation, science, journalism and other fields.

The book tells about the valuable contribution of the Central Asian and Khorasan travelers and geographers to the treasury of world science and culture, their lives, creative activities and travels.
