The Chairman of the Geographical Society of Uzbekistan Oybek Norinbayev met with representatives of the Oxford Education Analytics Center on the implementation of joint programs and projects in the field of academic, scientific and educational cooperation.
Oxford Education Analytics is a subsidiary of the University of Oxford (UK). The main areas of activity are research in the field of training and education in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and others. Specializes in research that tracks trends in learning and the effectiveness of educational systems over time.
The meeting was also attended (online) by Professor of St. Anthony's College, Oxford University, Mr. David Johnson. During the meeting, possible areas of cooperation were discussed based on an analysis of the experience of Oxford University in the field of education, science and technology, strengthening international relations and partnerships with international development agencies in the implementation of joint projects.
Also, special attention was paid to academic exchange and special education programs at Oxford University, comparative understanding of educational policy strategies, international projects and partnerships.
During the meeting, issues of academic cooperation with Koc University (Republic of Turkey) in the field of creating joint research centers, exchange of students, researchers, teachers, etc. were discussed. Dr. Seda Ertak Güler - Professor of Economics, Koc University took part in the meeting.
Also, a meeting of the Geographical Society of Uzbekistan and Oxford Education Analytics took place at the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed areas of joint activities and identified steps to achieve the effectiveness of activities aimed at implementing joint projects and programs in the field of academic, scientific and educational cooperation.
The Chairman of the Geographical Society of Uzbekistan Oybek Norinbayev noted that the implementation of joint programs and projects in the field of science and education is of particular importance for the republic and this cooperation will strengthen and expand the relationship between the two countries in the implementation of joint projects, the introduction of new approaches, systems and mechanisms aimed at development of education and human capital as one of the key indicators of the development of society.
